For us sustainability and re-use is very important.

We are in favour of a circular economy. This is an economic system which is being used to maximise the sustainability of products and raw materials and to minimise value destruction.

Furniture from the period 1950 – 1980 in general not only stands out because of a beautiful design, also the quality and comfort is generally of a high standard. Because of this most pieces of furniture are 'restorative', which means that it is possible to use them again. For example, by re-upholstering the chairs and sofas and replacing the foam filling, the furniture will last for many generations en in general also keeps its value.

'Why ugly when beautiful is an option?!'

Since the founding in 2011 we have focused on / specialised in the (complete) renovation of sofas and sofa beds from the period 1950 – 1980, and mainly from Dutch Designers. Well known names are: Martin Visser (Spectrum BR), Gijs van der Sluis (Gispen 540), Rob Parry (Gelderland Lotus 75 and Doublet) and André Cordemeyer (Gispen 1720/1721).

Not only do we renovate furniture, bought in by ourselves, but of course also furniture owned by you, in need of new upholstery or a thorough refurbishment. Together with you we will discuss what your requirements are and what your preference is. In our shop we have an extensive assortment of upholstery

materials from among others Kvadrat, De Ploeg, Lancier and Keymer, produces with the most care for both the products ánd the environment.

You can't immediately make a choice in our shop? No problem! We will send the samples of the upholstery materials to your home address, free of charge. This way you will get a good idea of the colour(s) that will suit your interior and suits the light in your home.
